About Us
Women-founded and -owned since 2009, An Event Less Ordinary is a bespoke wedding and event planning business. It all started with a production of Grease where two Pink Ladies, Amy + Carolyn, formed a fast friendship. With our organizational skills and experience with productions, we knew we would make the perfect wedding planning team.
Thirteen years later, we are a team of eight women with an eye for detail and endless spunk, with features in Style Me Pretty, Offbeat Bride, and the Knot. We specialize in offbeat weddings with diverse couples who want to celebrate their love in unique ways.
With humor and professionalism, we create events that shine. Most importantly, our clients experience all of the joy and none of the stress.
We have several different options for every type of planner. We welcome all budgets, all relationships, all humans - and we cannot wait to hear from you!
Staying Sustainable
AELO keeps our carbon footprint low by not having a company office space. We strive to be green in our personal and professional lives by using recycled materials, recycling, composting, and driving eco-friendly vehicles.
We guide our clients to sustainable practices, whether that's going with local flowers and food, or recycling their used decor items. We are committed to doing what we can to create a livable planet.
