In addition to their standard digital turntable service, C&A offers unique upgrades aimed at the music savvy - namely “the hybrid” wax wedding package. Often dubbed as “real DJs”, C&A has the drive to bring clients top local talent, tirelessly cultivated skill, and a meticulously personalized playlist. Staying Sustainable
Cage & Aquarium makes sustainability a priority and a group effort - from daily operations in their North Center office to event execution across Chicagoland. To begin, the majority of their operations are done digitally, including paperless contracts, invoices and event PDFs. C&A recycles paper, plastic and ink cartridges on a regular basis, and they use all LED lighting in their office.
The DJ company’s office is located steps away from the CTA brown line, meaning most of their staff and clients opt for public transit to get to and from the office for meetings. When using vinyl, C&A’s entire staff utilize the studio’s 100% recycled record collection. In any other case, all DJs have digital music collections stored on their laptops. Their studio owned microphones use rechargeable battery packs, eliminating the need for batteries entirely. All dance floor disco lights are LED.
Finally, Cage & Aquarium offers discounted non profit rates for, and in some cases have fully donated their services to, several eco conscious organizations including The Northern Illinois Food Bank and The Slow Food Organization. It is their goal to support and promote fellow green vendors whenever possible!
